    I am surprised no one has commented yet on this article. I came here gladly expecting different opinions.

    Anyway. Indeed, niceness is overrated. I’m a pathological non-liar, which is the main reason I usually keep quiet although I know I shouldn’t. Fake niceness just boosts an unhealthy, inflated ego, and I’m sick of people like that.

    It feels good to speak your mind because it makes you be yourself. However, I hope others say the truth about me, too, so I can continue to be who I really am.
