Like V says, what a waste of a potentially good life in defense of someone who CHOSE to put herself in the position whereby she would receive beatings for crossing the lowlives she CHOSE to associate with. This was by no means the first beating of this kind she'd incurred through her wrong CHOICES and I doubt even her son's incarceration would make her stop making those wrong CHOICES so chances are she'll be beaten again, meanwhile her son - possibly the only worthwhile thing she ever produced in her sorry life - rots in jail. Like V and her brother did with their mother, Tyrone should have shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
