This is still my first point of contact for checking for Violent Acres updates. Will be until its not here any more.
That said, reading allllll those comments on the VA site, I was entirely amused. Sorry it made VA’s eyes bleed though.

So what she’s saying is that, when writing for herself the writing will be normal, and when writing for someone else (as she was practicing the last 2 posts), it’ll be uninspired and shitty?
There’s a definite difference in the 2 writing styles. She may be bugged that people noticed, but that doesn’t make it not true.
DD, “normal” for VA IS uninspired and shitty writing.
I think people are reading too much into it and looking for shit to gripe about. OMG she put a period here and usually she doesn’t! It’s not VA! Conspiracy!!

DD, haven’t you read V’s posts about working for someone vs. for herself? Yes, if she stays true to her principles, it *is* going to be uninspired and shitty.

I love reading V’s stuff; despite what she’s tried to say in this post, she’s really a very good writer, which is what made her popular to begin with.
And that’s why I care, Mary. I’d love to continue reading someone who is inspired to continue to write well. Seeing someone with so much talent phone it in is always disappointing for that person’s fans.
Yeah but everyone has to phone it in at some point or else we’d go insane. Nobody is on point 24/7/365. Some days I bet you phone it in at your job, some days I bet we all slack off. To expect V to be any different is unrealistic in my opinion. She’s only human.
I’ll gladly wipe out the entire human population on earth… yeah… every one of us! Good to know there are people like me out there… huh?
