wow…your so right my lil sis won’t play in the backyard till I forced her to walk around the mall by herself last year, and she would freak out if home alone. What can I do about this now, the fears are already there how do I get rid of them…
It’s true. Kids are raised by parents who fear everything. Life shouldn’t be lived with baseless fear.
I recommend books by Gavin de Becker, such as <a href=”http://www.amazon.com/Protecting-Gift-Keeping-Children-Teenagers/dp/0440509009″.Protecting the Gift: Keeping Children and Teenagers Safe (and Parents Sane). It’s about being safe, but not neurotic.
