Regardless of what anyone has to say about who they think/imagine V is, has anyone forgotten that V made them THINK?

I mean, why bother commenting if you’re just trying to work out who she is, where she lives, what she’s going to do next,etc, after all this time? Seriously, go and buy a trashy magazine with Brangellina on the fucking front cover, FFS! Really, have you even re-evaluated how you think about your own opinions? About the world around you? About how you live your own life? After all this time?

I read you because your posts DO make me THINK. Sometimes I agree with you instantly, sometimes I know that I will never agree with you. At least I have to THINK about what you’re sayin’, and sometimes I even change my opinion, after reading your take. You make me re-think my position. That’s exercise for the brain.

Then there are your funny posts. Who doesn’t enjoy a laugh?

Self Imposed Insomnia made me cry my eyes out.

I don’t care if this story is about a child or an animal. It’s terrible that a LIVING BEING (human or not) is terrified of someone who is responsible for his/her wellbeing.

Care less about V, care more about her stories.

Even if she IS making this shit up, she gets the reality of others’ lives, in a way that most people can’t.

You can’t put a $ figure on empathy, or antipathy.

That said, I’d keep reading an asshole’s blog if it was entertaining, case in point: Maddox. So why V would need the extra effort so that “some people forgive her for being an asshole and keep reading her blog”, I have no idea. Unless she ran out of things to snark about, then yeah, a touching story is the right way to retain the readers. I guess. I’d be bored quickly, though.

Like… reading Stephen King’s books make him some money too? Or buying a magazine? Or even checking books out from the library cause they had to buy the book too which then goes back to the author in a roundabout way?

Imagine that, someone writing for money. What a novel fucking concept (pardon the pun).

I’m hardly fooling myself. I read her blog because it entertains me. If her entertaining me makes her money without me having to pay her for it? All the more power to her. So she’s an asshole? So what? So are you, so am I, and so is 99.9% of the human race. At least she recognizes she’s an asshole and wholeheartedly admits it.

Cry me a river.

She wants people to read her blog to generate money. End of story. Writing about how her mother abused her growing up makes people read her blog and generates money. Writing about how she managed to overcome the cycle of abuse and now fosters other abused children makes people read her blog and generates money. It also makes some people forgive her for being an asshole and keep reading her blog. Don’t fool yourself. This is all about the money.

I’ve followed V’s stuff for awhile now, this is her second blog I’ve read. For her to take the time to make stuff up assumes that she cares what others think–I’m pretty sure she doesn’t give a flying fuck, but I could yet be wrong. OR she’s practicing creative writing, if she IS making it up, perhaps for a class? At any rate, why the fuck do you care what she thinks or what others think of her?

That said, I am most impressed that she does all this at the age of 28 (allegedly).
