    I started drinking diet when they stopped using cane sugar. I didn’t know it at the time, but it gradually started not tasting as good and never was right after the switch was complete. Years later (recently) I had the opportunity to compare cane to HF corn sweetener. No contest. Cane costs more and it’s worth every cent IMO.

    I always wondered why it wasn’t good anymore, but I attributed it to maturing tastes. Turns out it was a lot simpler - a switch to a more cost effective but worse tasting formula.
