When I first saw The Girl Ho's hysterical rant about you, I didn't expect that you would, or should, respond. But your response was dead-on, and the contrast between your measured, reasoned, and amusing writing makes The Girl Ho's screechy hysteria all the more apparent in contrast. Oh, and the girl-on-girl sex stuff is always appreciated. From what I can deduce after reading as much as I could stomach of both groupie girl blogs, Lola Groupie's version of the events is more believable. She seems to have a slightly better grip on the rational world than Girl Ho, though that is relative. She is at least <i>somewhat aware of her own ridiculous actions and majorly obsessive behavior. I felt sorry for her poor new boyfriend who had to put up with her ex-boyfriend related obsessions. Lola, let that whole pitiful groupie world go and move on...few people even care about that band's music, even fewer about the individuals in the band, and almost no one about your status as one fling in a million that the guitarist has had. This band's next gig is at a senior center, for jeebus sake. Create your own worth, don't try to gain some by latching desperately onto passing men. Especially men that care so much about you that they keep fucking every skirt they come across. The Girl Ho...no advice for you. You seem ideally suited to actually believe that being a groupie is a worthwhile occupation. You just keep believing that mr guitar hero only says those nice things to you, and that he isn't still fucking his way across the country from grange hall to frat party. One day the world will open their eyes to the brilliance of this scrappy band, and then you too will be famous for...um...being his occasional cum receptacle? Nice response, V.
