Original post: My Adoption and How My Biological Father Tracked Me Down
Very interesting… but uh… where do you explain how your biological father tracked you down?
it’s like every abused child’s dream…that they don’t REALLY belong to the monsters who are hurting them, that there is a long lost father who is normal and who will one day show up and reclaim them and make everything better…
of course the reality isn’t nearly so magical, and at age 19 it’s a little late for that…
I look forward to the rest of the story
I look forward to hearing more, too. My own father “found me” (sort of, he wasn’t really looking, it was more of an accident) at 33. By then it was too late for a magical “I’ve come to rescue you” and he wasn’t content with just “let’s be friends” he wanted, what, I don’t know, maybe to badmouth my mom and tell me what a victim he had been.
As for itistoday’s comment “where do you explain how your biological father tracked you down?” - I don’t think that’s really significant to the story, except perhaps to other parents who might be trying to find their kids. While the title of the post “How my biodad tracked me down” is a bit misleading, I think the interesting content, the part that really counts is, “What happened when he did,” and for those of us who have been in that sort of situation, “And what happened after the 30 minute reunion show.” At least, that’s my take.
(i think it was meant to be funny…)
You were adopted too, hmmm…. What a coincidence. V, you’re not my mom are you?
Ok, I may seem … inexperienced, but that I am - Why would a woman such as V has described her want a baby girl? If it’s because it’s her baby, why does she treat her worse than I treet my plants in their pots?

Probably money.
