It’s silly to complain about bare tits being offensive in public when fat, ugly bitches are allowed to roam freely, publicly flopping their lard, inflicting their noisome visages on anyone unfortunate to glance their way. Oh, and pimple-faced bucktooth scrawny teenagers, and people with strange growths, and cripples, and those disgusting women who kept a nice dark tan when they were twenty and now look like they’ve been used to wipe somebody’s ass, and anyone with bed hair, and those pasty-faced geeks who blink at you from behind thick glasses.

People with glasses are offensive. They should definitely have to eat in the crapper. Or wear bags over their icky heads.

We started losing the war against Public Display of Things People Don’t Want to See when we let those black folks go out in public. We should have known that was just the camel’s nose in the tent - now we have to share oxygen with every scourge of public decency that likes to flash their emo glasses or flaunt their crutches. Send them all to the bathroom.

I have no problem with breastfeeding, as long as it is covered and I don’t hear any slurping. Isn’t that one of the functions of a receiving blanket?

As long as human beings come equipped with necks and eyelids, *looking at* anything has nothing to do with “comfort zones.” If you don’t like to look at boobs — nursing ones or silicone ones or little ones or old ones — then shut your silly eyes, or turn away (or turn off the TV).

(And choosing not to nurse a child in a public bathroom has nothing to do with the poor little thing’s emotional well-being; it’s just fucking filthy in some of those places. Would you eat a meal in your average gas station bathroom? No? Then why should a baby?)

As for Fasta and Mooshu: Boobs are pretty, end of story. They’re round, they’re soft, they’re bouncy. There’s a reason why artists from the dawn of time have liked to paint them, including gay artists. They’re just nice to look at. Lusting after them is nice too, but plenty of people who don’t lust after them like to look at them. Me, I do both — but it’s perfectly plausible that Verruca might like to look at them without wanting to do anything else with them.

I’m a new mom who breastfeeds, and I totally agree with you except for the bathroom point. I have no problem nursing in a bathroom, but very few offer any seating besides the floor or the toilet, neither of which are very appealing. What the lactivists need to do is crusade for chairs in public restrooms. I feel bad for the babies who get stuck at those nurse-ins. I mean, really, a kid can only eat for so long….

I’m going to skip right over the point about the lactivist (too easy, VA!) and address what she said about the word f*ck.

I don’t mind the word f*ck, but VA uses it so much it loses whatever point there is in uttering it.

I don’t get the blog thing either. It’s a word to describe what she’s doing…does she object to the word, or to the fact then when it’s used to describe what she’s doing she feels lumped in with the people she likes to bash?

She doesn’t seem too inspired lately - maybe she’s digging a little too deep.
