The thing about magazines like Entertainment Weekly and People Magazine is that they’re trash. Hence, they’re normally read by trash.
I find it appalling and somewhat of an insult to my intelligence as a human, that Paris Hilton’s dog makes the news more often than events like an 11 year old getting tazed in an Orange County school, by a police officer.
Let’s bet that had she been tazed by Paris Hilton the news would have been broadcast to Voyager The Space Probe…
Regardless, there will always be people who thrive on the misfortune, or in the case of those magazines, their bad wardrobe choices.

Ah, these are the reasons I find myself compelled to check V’s website everyday - we share the same sense of humor. I too agree the People magazine is on the upper eschalon of trashy magazines, but like V, I find myself twittering through the pages while imprisoned in the doctor’s waiting room. Halle Berry had dental cosmetic sugery! OMG! I guess I have a creepy curiosity for what construes “celebrity news.” It’s disgustingly interesting.
