I try to avoid Wal-Mart, here in Virginia, as much as possible because the shoppers I've encountered act like they're shopping at Macy's in Beverly Hills. I have yet to come across a celebrity covered in camouflage, wearing 6" nails with murals, or have mullets.

“I HAVE CHILDREN IN THE CAR! HOW DARE YOU USE THAT LANGUAGE WHEN I HAVE KIDS IN THE CAR!”

I can sympathize with parents that have a lot of kids because I have a lot of kids. However, I think using children as leverage for anything is a selfish act that devalues the child to nothing more than a bartering tool, and that's pretty pathetic. Those types of parents deserve to shop at Wal-Mart so I don't have to deal with them at the stores that I frequent.

Here are some points for those rednecks, soccer moms, and fat people:

1. I usually park on the outskirts of a lot because I can always find a spot, and in the time that it takes to circle the lot for a close spot, I'm already in the line to check out. I have yet to come across a lot that takes more than 2 minutes to cross.

2. Don't snap another person's balls for something that you laid the foundation for. The lady picking a verbal fight and then condemning V for the language looked ignorant, which is probably why she's shopping at Wal-Mart in the first place. I meet more ignorant people failing in life than those who succeed.

As an employee of Wal-mart, I can atest that every crazy fucking person in the area makes it apart of their daily routine to visit their neighborhood Wal-mart and meet the other crazy fucking people already there.

#14 Lawson's Gramma: "60 plus years ago I wasn’t around, but I’ll salute and say [lots of nice things, though irrelevant to the point]"

I feel I should not keep this discussion on. (Kicking when someone's down?) Especially when I don't know wether some facts (like 500 Trillion Chinese people) were just thrown in and deliberately hugely over-axagerated or if they really were real concerns. What the hey, I still do it. That kinda smart-alec I am...

Shall I pre-chew your steak also? Not a problem. I hope this is easier:

Aren't you the same person who 1940+ years ago was afraid we are all gonna speak Aramaic? And then you burned your own capital?

That was a bit more concrete example for easy understanding, although not as applicable. Now go and use abstraction to all of these three examples! Ok... abstraction is not easy. Lemme help with my limited knowledge. For example a very crude and simplified form of it:

Fear.
=> Fear of being conquered.
==> Irrational fear of being conquered.
===> Irrational fear of being conquered and thus losing national identity, culture and language.

(And now someone smarter than me can correct my mistakes in this post.)

“you white trash piece of shit!”

Uhmm, how does V know they are white trash? Unless, of course, she thinks all people that shop at Walmart are white trash, in which case doesn't that mean V is white trash?

"On a related note, has anyone noticed how all the crazies go to WalMart and all the normal people go to Target?"

If by "normal people" you mean elitist people who think they are better than everyone else and buy the same products that Walmart sells under a different brand, then yes.

To Lawson's Gramma - English is a required subject for all Chinese students - from kindergarden all the way through post grad studies. When I visited China a few years ago the only people I had trouble communicating with were those who were over 40 years old... everyone else spoke perfectly understandable English. So perhaps you should get your facts straight before you make huge assumptions.

I do agree with saying thank you to your dad and all other brave men who lost their lives in WWII. Visiting the American cemetary in Normanday near the D-Day invasion sites is a truly humbling experience. The thousands of graves there are of those brave men who never got past the beaches. Seeing those thousands of graves made me feel *unworthy* of the freedoms I enjoy as an American: those men deserve our deepest gratitude and respect.

#9 .. Wow .. didn't know I was "spouting my opinions all over the internet" and would be called a "pompous ass". I guess I'll go back to just lurking

#10 .. 60 plus years ago I wasn't around, but I'll salute and say thank you to my Dad and all the other brave men who lost and risked their lives in WWII along with all the other men and women who risked and are still risking their lives for the freedoms we take for granted. NOW, back to lurking .. Merry Christmas
