Hey V,
I need your advice-
I’m trying to buy a .3 acre lot that has a manufactured home on it. The owner/tenet of the home is going to pay rent.
I am having the WORST time finding a lender that will loan me the $$ to buy the lot. They either say: “It has to be a residence, YOURS” (USAA) or “It has to be 1+ acres” (Texas Veterans Land Board).
What type of lender should I be looking for?
ferrets? you’ve got to be fucking kidding me.
reading your blog makes me wonder if I shouldn’t be doing what you are doing with real estate. I LOVE shopping for apartments, I love looking up listings and comparing prices and neighborhoods and touring different properties. I am one of the few people I know who loves moving. But I know very little about it, and I wouldn’t know where to start. How did you get into it, how did you learn what you know? I guess just by doing…
@2 I’m the same exact way. My fascination with apartments/houses borders on crazy, but I have zero experience doing it to make a living. I’d love to know more.
Wow, do the ferret tenants live in Iowa? Say the right to them was grandfathered in? ‘Cause I think I work with him. He’s adopted more since, too.
