Apparently, Dooce did an Interview with the New York Times website where she mentions me and says my parodies really upset her.
I think she’s full […]
Original post: Dooce Doesn’t Like Me

Poor Skeletor. :(
For those of you too lazy to read through the code of conduct crap, it starts at the bottom of page one:
“Heather Armstrong, a blogger in Salt Lake City who writes publicly about her family (dooce.com)…
Since last October, she has also had to deal with an anonymous blogger who maintains a separate site that parodies her writing and has included photos of Ms. Armstrong’s daughter, copied from her site.
Ms. Armstrong tries not to give the site public attention, but concedes that, “At first, it was really difficult to deal with.””
As for the code of conduct thing: I must admit I’m fairly naive about the whole comment thing, but come on:
“Chief among the recommendations is that bloggers consider banning anonymous comments left by visitors to their pages and be able to delete threatening or libelous comments without facing cries of censorship.”
People don’t do this already? If you don’t like something on YOUR site, don’t you have the right to delete it? Visitors have no rights.
Manners? I’m sorry, fuck manners. We’re bloggers. We entertain, inform, and shock. The mainstream media has manners. Leave all that crap to them. Go V!
